In a world where sports are dominating our youth; Peninsula Sports Fundraising is a non-profit organization that strives to continue to provide opportunities for Peninsula youth to be able to participate in sports. Our mission, duty and goal is to minimize the burden of costs to families not able to keep up with fees, equipment and expenses associated with playing sports. This organization would directly benefit the citizens of the Virginia Peninsula by not only making playing a sport more affordable, but to also open up "windows of opportunities" for our youth to have the chance to be seen by coaches from Division I, II & III college and universities in hopes of receiving a scholarship to attend those colleges. Our young people can now receive their education at the expense of playing a sport that they love.

Peninsula Sports Fundraising have collaborated with The Salvation Army Peninsula with bell ringing throughout the holidays for donations and with filling stockings for those less fortunate children from ages 0-12 years old for the holidays.

This program continues to sustain or grow the community by allowing us to recruit other talented girls to the team who have a passion for softball and who would like to play collegiate softball.

The program is planned, organized and executed by the manager and coachees of the team. Everything is arranged with the owners of AIGA Performance for conditioning and with the contact person for the Boys & Girls Club prior to the end of the playing season so that the girls go right into strengthening their bodies and practicing.

The girls, parents, and coaches have been extremely grateful for the money received through grants as it has allowed the team to be exposed to college coaches by making the cost more affordable.
