In a world where sports are dominating our youth; Peninsula Sports Fundraising is a non-profit organization that strives to continue to provide opportunities for Peninsula youth to be able to participate in sports. Our mission, duty and goal is to minimize the burden of costs to families not able to keep up with fees, equipment and expenses associated with playing sports. This organization would directly benefit the citizens of the Virginia Peninsula by not only making playing a sport more affordable, but to also open up "windows of opportunities" for our youth to have the chance to be seen by coaches from Division I, II & III college and universities in hopes of receiving a scholarship to attend those colleges. Our young people can now receive their education at the expense of playing a sport that they love.

Peninsula Sports Fundraising has partnered with the Williamsburg Starz Gold non profit organization in order to allow parents the opportunity to volunteer their time to help decrease overall expenses related to playing softball. PSF has also partnered with Palmer Elementary School with the use of their softball fields which allows the teams to have practice. The softball teams each maintain the fields while using them for practice as well.

PSF will be able to sustain or grow the community of the Virginia Peninsula of Hampton Roads by continuing to make it possible for our youth to be able to play sports. Making sports more affordable keeps teams together for the long haul, which in turn allows the kids to learn how to build friendships, character, learn how to work as a team; some will develop leadership abilities and others will learn how to problem solve. This individual inner growth is what's missing nowadays in our youth and this is extremely important. Our community's growth and strength rest with our youth.

PSF will continue to assist coaches with structure and fundamentals that's needed to function as a team. Constant constructive criticism is and will be given to each child on their specific positions, attitudes, grades, and overall behavior. They will learn that playing sport is not just merely playing a sport; it's also character building.
