Jayden completed a CK READY work experience in animal care, and he challenged himself to work solely with equines – one of the animals that he shies away from.
During his experience at Willow Woods Equine Sanctuary & Farm, Jayden completed a huge “first” on his last day – he rode a horse! Bing, a horse that he bonded with, confidently walked the paddock with his new friend on his back.
When asked how he worked through his fears, Jayden said he listened to Michelle – founder and operator of the sanctuary – and his job coach, Grace. With their encouragement and careful understanding of his hesitations, Jayden landed his biggest accomplishment of his career – so far!
