“The people are actually nice here. The manager gives me a fist bump every time he comes out!” What got you interested in cars? “I’ve always liked cars and started riding 4 wheelers at four years old.” What’s your favorite thing about working here? “I get to drive brand new cars, and work on them.” What have you learned the most? Stuff I never even knew I could do. I replaced a shifter, drive belt, did a radiator swap, and learned to drive manual.”
Working with the READY Program gave Chris real world experience, and a chance to learn on the job in an area he is passionate about. Wynne Ford is in talks of offering Chris a position in the service department. Chris said, “I’ve already bought a tool box, and already got the green light.” He is very excited to take the next step after his READY internship is complete.
