Aiden’s internship at the Virginia Living Museum had him interpreting for museum visitors, learning natural history profiles, writing a newsletter article, working on collections projects, and attending veterinarian talks. He’s been extremely busy, and achieved two milestones!
His first milestone was conquering his fear of heights; he achieved a grounded, calm demeanor as he participated in a behind-the-scenes tour on the catwalk. He also wrote an article that was published in VLM’s newsletter! To read his article, visit this link.
Aiden noted that the rides to and from work via Knight Rides were crucial to his participation; everyone in his family works, so they could not consistently transport him for his scheduled shifts. He really appreciated and enjoyed Miss Darlene transporting him safely to and from his internship!
