What is your most endearing memory with CK so far?
One of my most endearing memories at CK was working with my first student at the Virginia Living Museum. I think that experience helped shape me into the [program facilitator] I am today. It taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and finding creative ways to support my students.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the impact I’ve had on my students, helping them develop skills that will serve them in their careers. Knowing that I played a role in their growth and independence is incredibly rewarding.
Why do you continue working for CK?
I continue working for CK because of the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. While there are challenges, the sense of fulfillment that comes from empowering students outweighs them.
What would you say to someone considering becoming a program facilitator with CK?
If you’re considering becoming a [program facilitator], be prepared for patience and adaptability. It’s a role that requires dedication, but seeing students improve and gain confidence makes it all worth it. If you enjoy helping others and making a difference, this is the job for you.
